1) TITLE: Now and Then

COMMENTS: The way this fic is written in sections (years ago, later, even later to name the first few) is appealing to me (if I'm honest, it's because it reminds me of my preferred writing style). It gives us a look at how Marco's death could affect Jean's relationships in the future, and while Jean misses Marco, he doesn't pine over him. This is refreshing. A good fic for both Jean/Marco and Jean/Eren shippers. 

2) TITLE: Necessities

SUMMARY: Erwin will take his opportunities where he can get them.
Based off a kink meme prompt.
RATING: Explicit

COMMENTS: I read this and enjoyed it when it was first posted on the kinkmeme. So I was pleased when I went to check out this author (per an anon's suggestion) and found that they were the A!A. This fic does involve dubcon, so be aware of that before reading. 

3) TITLE: slow down, grab the wall

SUMMARY: If Eren hadn't saved Mikasa, and Erwin hadn't captured Levi, perhaps they would have met in the criminal underworld?

SHIPS: Levi/Mikasa

COMMENTS: Okay but can we please talk about this fic? The concept is interesting, the characterization is great, and it's freaking hot despite having literally no smut at all? Can we please talk about it? Because this fic is glorious. Also, I think I read this author's work way back when I was into Hetalia and browsed FFN regularly. Glad to see they've gotten into SNK as well. 

4) TITLE: Attitude

SUMMARY: Ymir was not exactly how she would have pictured a ballet instructor, but life is full of subverted expectations.

COMMENTS: THIS FIC THOUGH. I cannot. A+ 10/10 would read again. And again. Fluffy Ymir/Historia with gay ballerinas doing gay ballerina things? It makes me miss dancing, but I never found any lesbians when I used to dance. (Where was I going with this?) Read for precious gay girls, ballet shenanigans, and Ymir's road rage. 

5) TITLE: and it makes her but it breaks her
AUTHOR: prefacing at AO3
SUMMARY: A series of vignettes following Marco and Annie, culminating with the two of them swapping gear when Annie's malfunctions during Trost.
RATING: General
SHIPS: slight Marco/Annie
STATUS: complete, 1579
COMMENTS: I understand Marco/Annie isn't exactly a huge ship, but why doesn't this fic get more attention? They aren't even really shipped together here. Very nice, and perfect if you're looking for a short oneshot featuring a surprisingly cute rarepair.
